Ali Fazal, who recently welcomed his daughter with his wife Richa Chadha, left his fans impressed with his character of Guddu Pandit in his last outing, ‘Mirzapur Season 3’.
As per the latest report in Pinkvilla, Ali Fazal has bagged the lead role in ‘Rakht Brahmand‘, opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Helmed by Raj & DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barve of ‘Tumbbad‘ fame, the report further stated that the film is a marvelous vision from the director duo and a significant advancement in the fantasy drama genre.
Moreover, the entire cast of the show has been finalized, and the shoot for the six-part limited series is set to commence next week in Mumbai.
Ali is scheduled to shoot for the series throughout August while also managing small schedules for his other projects. According to reports, the ensemble cast of the show also features Aditya Roy Kapur and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
Meanwhile, on Ali Fazal’s work front, the new dad has an exciting lineup of projects, including the highly-anticipated ‘Metro… In Dino’ directed by Anurag Basu. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sensharma, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, among others, and is set to hit theaters on November 29, 2024.
In addition, Ali was roped in Lahore in 1947, backed by Aamir Khan and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. This film features Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol in lead roles, with Zinta announcing her shoot wrap-up earlier this year in June.
Apart from his, Ali is also part of Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, a South Korean period-action film starring Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and Nassar in key roles.
